What i would call this is an awesome half day event by MyHostel. Where interested participant can learn to write Chinese Calligraphy couch by knowledgeable tutor and at the same time to enroll themselves in a Calligraphy writing competition.
It is an interesting way to learn Chinese Calligraphy with a little competition to reward the participant for attending the event, their interest and effort to learn this type of pleasing writing, embodying the artistic expression of human language in a tangible form. To make the event even more interesting, MyHostel organize a Costume Show which is another very unique and different way to showcase Chinese Traditional Costume Show with a little touch of Chinese Calligraphy.
After the Costume Show, the event went straight to a Chinese Costume Fashion Show, a fashion runway show of the Chinese Costume at Yeng Keng Hotel featuring a twist of Modern and Traditional Chinese Costume and a bit of ending surprise of adding a on-the-spot Chinese Calligraphy to the costume.
This event was held at Yeng Keng Hotel in Penang, giving everyone the opportunity to experience first hand in understanding and learning Chinese Calligraphy and Redefines it with a modern twist.
