It has been awhile since i am really active in hunting for food in Penang area, haha ! Probably due to the hectic travelling period last year end, haha ! So called hectic life right ? haha ! Anyway, me and my best friend were looking for place for lunch the other day and this Kitchen Twenty Three place pop up in my mind, so i suggested to go here, haha ! I know about Kitchen Twenty Three for some time now but don't really make the effort to go try it out.
Walking into Kitchen Twenty Three without knowing how it is and what food is good, it is something like opening a box of gift full with surprises, haha ! The moment i open the door to Kitchen Twenty Three, i was like, wow .. ! Nice interior .. haha ! (*Surprise right ? just like the box ! haha .. )
There were actually no one in Kitchen Twenty Three when we enter probably it is just in time for lunch. We were quickly served by the waitress there. Looking at the menu, still not sure what to eat, we end up asking Mr Google about it, haha ! To our surprise, there is actually alot of negative comment given with not really promising rating, omg ! we thought to ourself .. ! We decided to try it anyway as the prompt service by the waitress earlier win us over by first impression, haha !

Drinks is ok, average i would say .. nothing much to comment.
Spaghetti Broccoli Pesto With Norwegian Salmon RM 29.00
(Broccoli cooked in sweet basil creamy sauce and topped with salmon)
I actually love this, haha ! Look at the salmon, its big and it taste nice. The paste on the other hand tasted average and a bit salty. By the way, where is the broccoli ??
Thai Style Spaghetti RM 14.00
(Special sauce cooked with prawn, cuttlefish and vegetables)
This is said to taste good but a little bit spicy. Tasted like the real Thai Tomyam cooking, which is a plus for this dish, but again .. where is the prawn ??
It seems like the description on the menu does not 100% match what is served, maybe it is ? or did we over look ? is the ingredient hidden somewhere in the dish where we need to find it ? hmm, anyway, correct me if i am wrong thou', haha !
Overall, the environment there is good, the food is ok but i love the salmon, haha ! Since Kitchen Twenty Three is located near Penang industrial area, i think it is still a good choice to stop by for a good lunch after a hard-morning-work .. haha !
