[Halal] Tunas Bistro @ Batu Maung, Penang

At first glance through, i thought this place is a sports club or something but after a second look, then only i realize it is actually a restaurant, haha ! It seems that the owner of this shop is a fans of football with picture of football player hanging on the wall. Tunas Bistro is a simple restaurant located at Batu Maung, Penang, since this is a corner shop, it has ample space beside it. There are few seating place outside where you can enjoy the wind blow at night and there are few seating place inside too.

At Tunas Bistro, they serve mixture of both cuisine, the Western Food and also Local Malaysian Food. There are food like Burgers, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Ayam, Chicken Chop and more. The serving portion is huge, it will definitely make every single cents spend worth it.

Nasi Lemak Chicken Parmigiana

During my visit, the waitress there introduce me to their new item which is not in their menu. Nasi Lemak Chicken Parmigiana. It is something like a fusion of both Nasi Lemak and Chicken Chop in a single plate. I love the Nasi Lemak as the rice taste good and the sambal is awesome, the Ikan Bilis and Kacang is crunchy. Honestly, i didn't mix the Nasi Lemak and Chicken Chop together when i eat, though the food is in the same plate but i eat it separately, i don't know how it will taste like if i mix up both and eat them together. The melted cheese on top of the chicken chop taste good, the fries is a bit soft but it is fine for me. This is a very satisfying plate of Nasi Lemak Chicken Parmigiana.

Burger

The burger that i order comes in a choice of Beef RM 11.90, Chicken RM 11.90 and the one i order Zinger RM 14.90. It is serve with fries, mashed potato and salad. The Bun used for the Burger taste average but i like the meat, mayonnaise and egg use in it. Every bite is filled with juiciness. The burger at Tunas Bistro is serve in a huge size. One plate of burger like this is enough to make me full whole night.

Jus Tembikai RM 4.00

The watermelon juice is refreshing. Overall, the food here is tasty and service is good. Environment i would say is just average but it is a nice place for a dine in.
