The world may be facing the Covid-19 pandemic now and in Malaysia all festive celebration has been put to a halt in order to keep everyone safe and healthy but that does not mean we Malaysian will have to stop celebrating the Chinese New Year this year. To comply with SOP and MCO set by the government, this year Chinese New Year celebration is being done differently which is by having it Virtually, especially when crossing state borders are not allowed, many family members are doing virtual meeting for their reunion dinner as an alternative to keep in touch and virtually having dinner together with family. Though we may not be physically together but in heart and thoughts family stay strong together.
Thanks to Penang Wedding Professionals Association [PWPA] we media, bloggers, hotels and Penang Wedding Professionals Association members are able to do the same by having our Chinese New Year celebration virtually and Toss the Yee Shang together through online meeting platform. It was really nice being able to meet all fellow bloggers friend, media, hotels representative and Penang Wedding Professionals Association members again.
The new normal under the pandemic has made the Annual New Year gathering of the Penang Wedding Professionals Association very different from previous years ! The Online Live broadcast of the CNY Virtual Celebration 2021, which gathered 50 bloggers and members of the Association, ended successfully on the Facebook page of the Association.
Big set of Yee Shang were sent over to the door step of 50 online attendees prior to the facebook live virtual celebration by The Light Hotel Penang. The effort of sending these Yee Shang set by The Light Hotel Penang enable all 50 online attendees to have their online Lou Shang celebration together.
Other than the Lou Shang session, the 2 hours 45 minutes long live event also feature some speech from Penang Chief Minister, Chairman of the Penang State Executive Councillor for Tourism, Arts, Culture and Heritage and also speech from The president of the association and their Organising Chairman. To make things even more interesting there are Fortune Forecast for the year of the Ox by Master Ray ! The highlight of the online celebration is definitely the Instant Cash Angpow Giveaway, Best OOTD Awards and Penang Wedding Professionals Association Members Appreciation.
