Taiwanese Palace | 第一臺 懷念ㄟ所在 @ Lorong Nenas, Bukit Mertajam, Penang

The now trending restaurant Taiwanese Palace is located just next to the famous Icon City in Bukit Mertajam. Taiwanese Palace is full with people dining in now, during my visit, i have to wait in line for around 30 minutes during lunch hour before i can get a seating place for dine in.

This little street just beside Icon City is now filled with newly open restaurant and Taiwanese Palace is one of the restaurant located along this street.

In terms of environment, Taiwanese Palace is a nice place to dine in, there are a lot of seating places and their service is good too. Food serving is fast and their food serving portion is huge ! You can tell that the Chef is very generous with the amount of ingredient put into making their food.

Pork Stomach Mee Shua RM 17.90

My personal favorite dish here has to be the Pork Stomach Mee Shua. If you are not some one who enjoy eating port intestines then this bowl of Pork Stomach Mee Shua is not for you. There are a lot of Pork Stomach put into this bowl of Mee Shua of which i like it a lot. The Pork Stomach is cut into small pieces and it mix well together with the Mee Shua. I love to put a lot of vinegar into the Mee Shua making it a little sour. The size of the Mee Shua is huge ! One bowl of this is enough to keep me full for the entire day.

Sesame Oil Chicken with Rice RM 19.90

The other thing that i order is their Sesame Oil Chicken with Rice. This set of rice is just average for my opinion. I was expecting the Sesame Oil Chicken to be very aromatic with Sesame Oil taste but that is not the case. The Sesame Oil taste is mild but the chicken in it is good. This set is serve with Egg and Vegetable on the rice and a bowl of Lotus Root + Peanuts soup. The soup is nice, it is serve hot and it is very comforting to the tummy.

Ham Omelette Roll RM 11.90

During my visit, i also tried their Ham Omelette Roll. It would be great if the Omelette Roll is made in a way where the egg inside it is still a little bit wet instead of fully cooked. The filling of the Ham Omelette Roll is nice, there is slices of Ham inside with some mayonnaise.

Pearl Milk Tea RM 9.90

To quench thirst, i ordered their Pearl Milk Tea. The Pearl Milk Tea is nice, it is not too sweet with a lot of Pearl in it.
