Have always wanted to come here to try their food. It was only recently that i manage to squeeze out some free time to hop on over to Osmanthus's Hong Kong Desserts to try out their food. At first, i thought Osmanthus's Hong Kong Desserts only serve dessert because of its name. Surprisingly they do serve other food other than dessert too.
Osmanthus's Hong Kong Desserts has been operating at along New Lane, Georgetown for many years and their business is still going strong until today. Osmanthus's Hong Kong Desserts serve Chinese style food, to be specific, its more like Hong Kong food where you can find food like Chinese style Dessert, Chinese style Ramen, Mee Sua and Congee.
Mee Sua Koh
Pork Congee with Century Egg
During my visit, I tried their Mee Sua Koh and Pork Congee with Century Egg. I love both of the food that i order. Both of it are serve hot and it is really comforting to the tummy. They are really generous with the ingredient they use too. The broth of the Mee Sua Koh is not very think or watery, its texture is just nice, you may request for some vinegar to be put into the Mee Sua Koh. I personally put a lot of vinegar into the Mee Sua Koh and it taste good.
Fresh Mango Pomelo Sago
There are a lot of different dessert available here but what i heard their most famous dessert is the Fresh Mango Pomelo Sago so i choose to try it out. The dessert is a refreshing mix of juicy mango, tangy pomelo and chewy sago pearls. The sweetness of the Fresh Mango Pomelo Sago is just nice.
