G Hotel Gurney kick starts 2024 on a high note by bagging the prestigious ASEAN MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions) Venue Standard 2024 – 2026 Award under the Meeting Rooms category for the second time.
This honourable award was presented to General Manager, Michael Hanratty by Secretary General, Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Dato' Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman at the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2024 that was held recently in Vientiane, Laos. The event was attended by the travel industry professionals as well as representatives and delegates from all ASEAN member countries.
The ASEAN MICE Venue Standard was introduced in year 2018 to recognize businesses and destinations in ASEAN which comply to the standards of tourism services for convention and meeting rooms in hotels and convention centres. G Hotel Gurney was rated based on several criteria such as physical settings of all meeting rooms, safety, security and emergency facilities, technologies used in meeting rooms as well as the upscale services provided by G Hotel’s staffs.
