There are two different set of Lunar New Year 8 Course Set Menu available at Olive Tree Hotel this Chinese New Year. One is the Lunar Bliss 8 Course Menu which is priced at RM 1399.00 + per table which is able to fit up to 10 persons per table while the other set is name as the Lunar Delight 8 Course Menu which is available at the price of RM 1699.00 + per table and is suitable for 10 persons. Olive Tree Hotel invites everyone to come and savour in their delicious set menu. These set menu is carefully and thoughtfully designed by their Chefs to captivate your taste buds and enhance your Chinese New Year celebration this year with an awesome dining experience. This 8 Course Set Menu is available for lunch and dinner.

The Lunar Bliss 8 Course Set Menu is available from 16 January until 24 February 2024 except 9 February 2024. There are dish like Olive Tree Salmon Yee Sang, Double Boiled Free Range Chicken Soup with Snow Pear and Dry Scallop, Traditional Style Roasted Spring Chicken, Steamed Sea Garoupa with Preserved Vegetable and Tomato, Braised Dry Oyster, Sea Moss, Mushroom and Bean curd Ties with Broccoli, Wok fried White Prawn with Creamy Butter Black Truffle Sauce and Crispy Bun, Fried Rice with Smoke Duck, Seaweed and Sweet Corn and Chilled Pumpkin Sago and Peach Jelly with Mini Shanghai Pancake in this set menu. The set comes with free flow of Chinese Tea.

While for the Lunar Delight 8 Course Set Menu it is also available from 16 January until 24 February 2024 except 9 February 2024. This set menu consist of dishes like Olive Tree Salmon Yee Sang, Crab Meat and Scallop Spinach Chowder, Oriental Roasted Lamb Flat Ribs, Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Crispy Granulated Soy Bean, Braised Abalone and Golden Money Bag with Broccoli, Clay pot Prawn in Siamese Style with Crispy Bun, Braised Black Truffle and Seafood with Udon Noodle, Chilled Pumpkin Sago and Peach Jelly with Mini Shanghai Pancake. This set also comes with free flow of Chinese Tea.

For me, I personally love their Crab Meat and Scallop Spinach Chowder which is serve hot and it is really comfortable to the tummy. Other than that, I also enjoy their Traditional Style Roasted Spring Chicken and Braised Abalone and Golden Money Bag with Broccoli. It is really nice to see that there is a mixture of vegetables in the set menu to give everyone the balance diet by adding some greens into the meal.

To elevate your reunion dinner experience Olive Tree Hotel also will be serving their special Lunar Harmony Feast 9 Course menu which is an expanded offering derived from the popular Lunar Bliss menu to everyone. This special edition introduces the Oriental Roasted Lamb Flat Ribs adding an extra layer of savoury delight to your reunion dinner celebration. Included in this Lunar Harmony Feast package is a free flow is variety of dessert making it a delectable centrepiece of the Lunar Harmony Feast. Lies in its Sweet Corner where indulgence knows no bounds. Guests are invited to savour an unlimited serving of aromatic dessert, featuring assorted New Year Cookies, the Carp Shaped Jelly, the crispy Fried Nian Gao, Sweet Peanut Soup and Tofu Fa and more.

My personal favorite from their dessert corner has to be their Mango Panna Cotta, Red Velvet, Strawberry Coating, Nyonya Kuih, Peanut Butter Eclair, Nian Gao, Red Bean Soup with Glunitous Rice Ball, Sweet Peanut Soup and Ayu Jelly. I was spoilt for choice as there are so many different types of dessert to choose from. This sweet symphony of flavours is not just a feast for the taste buds but it is also a culinary celebration believed to usher in luck for the auspicious year of 2024. This Lunar Harmony Feast this year will be a Reunion to Remember for many. This Lunar Harmony Feast 9 Course menu is only available on 9 February 2024. A 5 days advance booking with payment is required to secure your booking. The experience does not end with the delectable dishes as there will also be entertainment like War Drums, Sandart, Magician and Chinese Calligraphy activity during the Lunar Harmony Feast 9 Course Set Menu serving on 9 February 2024.

You may also choose to order the Olive Tree Hotel Prosperity Platter for take away and enjoy the lovely food at home with family or to surprise your friends with a party food this Chinese New Year. This Prosperity Platter is perfect for sharing among four peoples. Prosperity Platter is available from 16 January until 24 February 2024 and is priced at RM 168.00 + per platter. There are food like Roasted Spring chicken, Grilled Lamb Ribs, Pan fried Gyoza, Korean Chicenk Bao Bun, Crispy Torpedo Prawns, Tortila Chips, Fried 'Nian Gou' Ball, Pickled Cucumber and Carrot, Mongolian sauce and Strawberry Mayo sauce and Inclusive of Orange Fizz drinks.
