With Christmas just around the corner, the Penang Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments Penang set the festive mood by hosting a heartwarming Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Charity and Appreciation Night. The event brought together guests, corporate clients, media, and children from The Children’s Protection Society (CPS) and The Salvation Army Penang Children’s Home in a meaningful celebration of joy and giving.
Mr. Subash Basrur, the Complex General Manager, opened the evening with an inspiring message, emphasizing that the lights of the Christmas tree represent the light within everyone to make a positive impact in the lives of others. The event also highlighted the success of the Beary Merry Charity Bear Campaign, which has facilitated the adoption of over 400 bears to date. Through this initiative, the public can adopt a bear for RM 99.00 nett, with proceeds supporting educational opportunities for children from The Children’s Protection Society (CPS). Additionally, participants in the campaign have the chance to win exciting lucky draw prizes.
Adding to the festive cheer, guests can join the "Guess the Bears" Contest !
