Ewha Womans University ( 이화여자대학교 ) is a private women's university in Seoul, South Korea founded in 1886 by the American Methodist Episcopal Church. It is the world's largest female educational institute. Ewha Womans University is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea. (Source)

So why visit Ewha Womans University ? Well it is just a university, that is what i can tell you but it seems like a lot of people like to visit here and so i did as well, haha !

One thing special about Ewha Womans University that i like is the Ewha Campus Complex at Basement level 6 to 1st Floor which is Korea’s largest underground campus. The lower levels contain a library, bookstore, gym, movie theater, cafes, and other cultural facilities, while on the first level visitors can find lecture rooms and an eco-park. The Ewha Campus Complex provides students with various services, from learning to cultural activities, all under the one roof.

Ewha Womans University is a nice place with a lot of flower around the university. The environment there is really comfortable for visitor like me and for students like them, haha !

The main thing about Ewha Womans University is their shopping street just outside of the university. The Ewha Womans University area is one of the most popular shopping districts in Seoul. Clothing stores in the area sell affordable and stylish fashions for young people. Restaurants in the area cater to the tastes of young women, and many international dining chains have branches here. As well as the main street leading to the school, many of the alleyways are worth visiting. They are filled with accessory shops, small clothing boutiques, shoe shops, cafes, and hair salons.

Getting There

• Take subway from any station and stop at Ewha Womans University Station.
• Take exit 2.
• Turn left and walk straight.

Once you exit Ewha Womans University, Exit 2, there are shops on your right and left that you can visit. If you turn left at subway Exit 2 and walk straight you will reach Ewha Womans University in about 300 meters. There are shops where you can shop along the way heading towards Ewha Womans University. There are more just outside the entrence to Ewha Womans University
