Jay Coffee Town @ Bukit Mertajam, Penang

Jay at Jay drinking coffee ? haha ! It is funny when you walk into a cafe and tell the waiter, hi, i am Jay, while the cafe itself is Jay and i wonder, is the owner's name Jay as well ? hahaha ! Anyway, it is the name that interest me to go and try out the food here in this cafe.

Environment here is really nice, i like it a lot, it is really comfortable dining in here and the decoration is nice and soothing.

One thing that i don't like is their food serving speed. The waiter and waitress there are good at their service but i need to wait really long for my food to come. There are not many people inside Jay Coffee Town during my visit. With the number of people inside Jay Coffee Town, i expect maybe around 15 minutes for my first food to be serve but no .. they took much longer than that .. i wait until i am starving. After my first plate of food is serve, i need to wait for the second one to come. I finish eating my first plate then need to wait for around 10 to 15 minutes for my second plate to come. It is too long .. but i still give thumbs up to their service. The waitress apologize for the long wait and attend to me promptly.

Grilled Chicken Chop Mushroom RM 15.90

Grilled Chicken Chop Mushroom taste good and the Chicken is tasty. The Salad and the fries is tasty as well.

Thai Fried Chicken Chop RM 17.90

The sauce to this Thai Fried Chicken Chop is tasty and the mango that comes with it is really tasty but i don't like the Chicken Chop. The outer layer is thick and crunchy which is good but the Chicken is not that tasty.

Jay Latte (Hot) RM 9.90

Drinks here is good, not too sweet and not too bitter, just enough to keep me awake whole night, haha !

Jade Monster RM 10.90

If you ask me, out of these two cup of drinks which is my favorite ? I would say, i like both. The Jade Monster drink may look weird in blue colour but the taste is just normal, nothing funky or weird. If you have extra free time to spare and would love to hang out with friends, Jay Coffee Town would be nice but if you are in a rush then it is really not recommended to come here.
