Chinese New Year is coming like, really soon ! So without wanting to wait any longer for everyone to start getting too busy for friends gathering, we just have to throw one super early, haha ! Well, with that said .. here is my first 'Lou Sang' for the year .. !! Up Up Up Up !!
25 people in total, Lou one plate of Yee Sang, imagine the mess we made, haha ! Luckily, we are still able to taste the Yee Sang here at Sea Queen Restaurant. Oh, by the way, don't confuse yourself with Sea Queen Restaurant and Sea Queen Ballroom. They both have the same name but located at different location in Straits Quay. I was once lost looking for Sea Queen Ballroom but ended up at Sea Queen Restaurant, haha !
Roasted Chicken In Thai Style | RM 60.00 (Whole) / RM 30.00 (Half)
First dish served ! Thai Style Chicken, it may not look much but i love the salad-type-side dish. I am not sure how to describe this but it taste like those Thai Salad that i had in Thailand .. it tasted a little spicy, sour and nice ! I like it, you should try too but the chicken by the side is just normal.
Deep Fried Pork Meat With Sweet And Sour Sauce On Crystal Ice Top | RM 30.00 (Large), RM 20.00 (Medium), RM 15.00 (Small)
Wait, this confuse me a little, is this a dessert or a main dish ? haha ! I love this too but i would prefer it served without the ice below it, some say that it taste good when the Sweet And Sour Pork are dipped into the ice making the Sweet And Sour Pork chilled but i don't prefer that because dipping the Sweet And Sour Pork into the ice makes the Sweet And Sour Pork outer layer tasteless. My opinion is, without dipping the Sweet And Sour Pork into the ice, it taste awesome ! The outer layer is crunchy but soft on the inside.

Another one of my favorite .. the Spinach is really soft and tasty. The soup is not too oily nor too salty, thumbs up !! If i were to have this at home, this alone is good enough accompanied by a bowl of white rice .. !

I like all the food here, except for the fish. I feel the fish is fresh, the meat is smooth and soft but the taste is not that strong .. if the gravy is a little more spicy and if they can feature the taste even more, then it would be great !
Overall, the food here is great ! I am adding this to my list of place for Chinese New Year gathering, haha ! Their service is ok and the environment here is great .. ! Sea Queen Restaurant does present themselves well like a high-class-5-stars-hotel type of restaurant.
