It has been a while since i had my last hotpot. Going for a hotpot at Xiao Long Kan Hotpot | 小龙坎老火锅 is really awesome. Xiao Long Kan Hotpot which is located inside of Sunrise Tower at Gurney Drive, Penang is serving their famous yet authentic Sichuan taste hotpot. There are two different types of soup to choose from, which is the spicy and non-spicy soup.

If you are someone who can eat spicy food, then their spicy soup is definitely something for you to try on. I had a few sip and it is crazy spicy ! but it taste good though. A mixture of both the clear soup and spicy soup to tune down the spiciness level would do the trick. For the soup selected you can choose from Mala Soup, Chicken Soup or the Bone Soup.

The hotpot is priced at Hotpot from RM 100.00 ++ which comes with some basic ingredient. If you are a small eater like me, then these basic ingredients are enough for you, but if you wish to add on more ingredient then you can do so from their list of menu with extra charges to every items that you order. The add on ingredients are being categorize into few different price range making it easier for you to choose from.

There are the RM 2.00 ingredient which include but not limited to Pork Belly, Prawn, Sliced Beef, Chicken Thigh, Fish Paste, Beef Tripe, Beef Ball, Shrimp Paste, Rose Meatball, Bursting Meatball, Crab Sticks and many more.

From the RM 1.00 category, you can find ingredient like, Egg, Seaweed, Romaine Lettuce, Frozen Toufu, Shitake, Sliced Lotus, Sliced Potato and even Instant Noodles for you to choose from. Also, add some green into your hotpot to make the soup even more sweet and a balance diet for yourself.

The ingredient serve here is fresh, good quality and the soup gives you the authentic Sichuan taste. There are also some small bites food apart from the hotpot where you can just munch on it while waiting for your hotpot food to be cooked.
