Oppa And The Whisk Cafe @ Jalan Sungai Dua, Gelugor, Penang

When i first heard about the name Oppa And The Whisk Cafe, i thought it is a korean food restaurant but it turns out that is not the case. Here at Oppa And The Whisk Cafe, you can find mostly Thai Food.

Oppa And The Whisk Cafe is a newly open cafe which is located at Sungai Dua, Gelugor, Penang. Hidden among rows of houses. Though this place may be hidden from the view of public but this area is famous for many cafe and restaurant among the locals here in Penang.

Oppa And The Whisk Cafe is a small place with only a few seating place. The environment is nice and their service is very good too. Kudos to the waitress that serve my table the other day.

Smoked Half Chicken RM 35.90

During my visit, i tried their Smoky Half Chicken. The serving portion is crazy big, the Half Chicken is really big and i think it is suitable for at least 2 people. It is served with saute vege and fries. I love their fries and saute vege. The outer layer of the chicken is nice too but the chicken is a bit dry on the inside but the chicken meat is soft, making it still ok to be eaten.

Spicy Thai Style Fried Rice RM 11.90

Their Spicy Thai Style Fried Rice is tasty but it is crazy spicy ! If you are a spicy food fans, then this place to fried rice is definitely for you. It is a plate of wok fried garlic, shallot, chili flakes, basil leaf, chili padi, carrot, chicken breast, served with cracker and sunny side up

Moo Ping (Pork) RM 9.90 / 3 pieces

My personal favorite is their Moo Ping, which is the thai pork skewers. The meat is soft and the sauce that comes with it is tasty. The sauce has some salty taste to it and when it is eaten together with the pork skewers, it taste good,

Bloop Lemon Tea RM 7.90

A refreshing cup of Lemon Tea after a meal is always nice. To quench thirst and to calm the tummy after eating a spicy fried rice here, haha ! It is nice dining here, though the price is a little expensive but the serving portion is big.
