The Tamarra by Irama Dining is a newly open Restaurant which is located along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah Beside KWSP Building. There is a lot of seating place at The Tamarra with most of it an outdoor seating place. If you are someone who would love to dine in with a view of the sea side then The Tamarra is the place to go. Dining in here is comfortable and nice.

The opening of The Tamarra is at a very perfect timing, just in time for the month of Ramadan where everyone can come to this nice place for an awesome buka puasa time with friends and family. The Ramadan Buffet here this year is theme as Senandung Rasa by the Sea which is a perfect theme because The Tamarra is located by the sea.

The Ramadan Buffet here is divided into few different section spread out at different location in the restaurant itself. There are the mains section, kerabu section, dessert section and the action station section.

After a long day of fasting it is really nice to break fast with something light like some appetizing kerabu. To name a few there are Kerabu Kacang Botol Sotong, Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Daging and more at the Senandung Rasa by the Sea Ramadan Buffet. These kerabu are best to bring up the appetite and calm the hungry tummy.

But if you are someone who wish to dig right into the main course then you can try The Tamarra's Nasi Briyani Kambing with big chunk of Kambing meat inside it which will definitely satisfy your craving for Kambing. The juicy kambing meat paired with some Nasi Briyani is a perfect way to start a buffet.

Looking at the Main Section of the buffet there are dishes like Udang Galah Gulai Nenas, Ketam Masak Karipoole, Ikan Asam Pedas, Itik Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api, Ayam Goreng Berempah, Fried Taiwanese Cabbages with Mushrooms and more. Not to forget the action station which is located at the beach side of The Tamarra, this is the area where all the action of cooking, frying and shaving ice is going on throughout the night during the buffet session. There are Kambing Golek from the Bakar-Bakar stall. Ais Kacang and Cendol stall is also available where you can request to add durian onto it, definitely something to look out for durian lover. If you want something with soup, there is the Penang famous Laksa and some hot soup to calm the tummy.

As usual, a buffet would not be complete without the dessert section where you can find food like the Malaysian Kuih Muih, Cakes, Kurma, Pengat Durian and more. Something nice for those with sweet tooth. There are variety of cakes and kuih muih available for everyone to choose from.

What interest me here is their beautifully decorated cup cakes and muffin which is nice to see and nice to eat too. Something small and sweet for me to munch on after a satisfying meal at The Tamarra.

If you are a durian lover, other than the Durian Ice Kacang, there is also the Durian Pengat available at The Tamarra ramadan buffet dinner. The Pengat is filled with a lot of Durian making it very aromatic. This is definitely something to look out for durian lover.
